Give the pet a useful profile
Species, age and temperament create context before a visitor reaches a matching card. These details make a profile more useful than a photo alone.
PET COMMUNITY / PRODUCT CONCEPT
A pet-centred concept that brings profiles, playmate discovery and saved connections into one warm, approachable mobile experience.
Collaborative concept · Interactive browser demo

01 / THE DESIGN QUESTION
The proposal connects social discovery with the practical context owners need: a pet’s temperament, activity level and care preferences. Original materials include an empathy map, competitor review, user flow and interface studies. The demo focuses on the profile-to-match journey rather than claiming a validated matching algorithm.
02 / KEY DECISIONS
Species, age and temperament create context before a visitor reaches a matching card. These details make a profile more useful than a photo alone.
A focused matching view provides three clear decisions: pass, like or save. The saved collection lets visitors compare options without committing to contact.
A meeting request has a distinct review and confirmation state. The prototype clearly labels the request as a local simulation, not a message to an owner.
03 / A JOURNEY THROUGH THE PRODUCT
Try the path below, then return to the original interface sheets to see how the concept became an experience.
04 / EXPLORE THE PROTOTYPE
The demo implements local profile creation, species filtering, candidate details, likes, saved pets and a simulated meet request. It does not contact owners, locate real pets or provide emergency support. The original proposal’s broader service ideas remain future work.
Parkside · fictional location
A fictional companion who prefers quiet walks and a slow introduction.

06 / WHAT COMES NEXT
Test whether owners can find a compatible candidate and explain why they chose it. Validate which profile details matter before adding services, commerce or emergency features.
